The Great Lakes Eagles is an R/C flying club focused on giant scale. The concept of giant
scale is generally considered to apply to radio controlled model aircraft with a minimum
of eighty (80) inches for monoplanes and sixy (60) inches for multi-wing aircraft. Also included
in the giant scale category is model aircraft that are quarter (1/4) scale replica or larger of
an actual person carrying aircraft.
The Great Lakes Eagles are members of both the AMA and IMAA.
